When you are in Prague, you need to explore the old town hust like you need to eat chicken rice when you are in Singapore. The day starts at noon when you have children travelling with you... well perhaps most of the children... perhaps mine. Although I woke up early for groceries, prepping breakfast (not all of the time) and venturing out for morning photography, the kids sleeps in until they are awakened from their deep slumber. Its both pro and cons. You gotta make the best out of your situation or the cliche said "When life gives you lemon, you make lemonade". Probably its early in the morning while I am typing this post, so my mind is still starting up.
We head to a restaurant near the Old Town Square and as what I have mentioned in my earlier post, I always think that restaurants near to POIs are tourist trap. Perhaps it is true but I was yet again satisfied with the meal I had at Black Angel's Bar.
Anyway, first stop of the day is the Astronomical Clock Tower of Prague which is directly opposite our dining place. This clock is built in the 1400s and is the only one in the world from that century that is still working today. Imagine that... 700 hundred years! The mechanism has proven itself over time and the craftsmanship, outstanding! There are some interesting features (or fluff) on the clock that makes it all the more entertaining to watch when the clock strikes every hour. I would not write too much on this but you can read them in more detail at Wikipedia here.

We then proceed to the old town square. Here you will have a wonderful view of the astronomic clock tower, St. Francis church, The Church of Our Lady and the National Art Gallery. There are some street food here, horse carriage at €30 per ride that goes around the vicinity for 20-30 minutes (which means you gotta bear with the horse dung aromatheraphy for the entire duration) and plenty of street entertainers. The shopping street (Parizska Street) is around the corner with major brands like LV, D&G and the likes. If you walk towards the end of the street towards the direction of Prague Intercontinental Hotel, you will find Bally and a luxury good outlet there.
Anywhere else for the day? Nope. Not when you ended with a shoppimg street for the day LOL. Ok, I did went out for evening photography but the timing is not right and the photos turned out amateurish. You can find it below.
Some photos of the day are shown below. Where were we on 25th June? Charles Bridge!
