Project WWWT Day 5 of 72 - Bruges, Belgium

23 May 2017

The day starts early for me. Managed to go for a quick jog around 7AM and what can I say, Bruges is beautiful in the morning with the cool crisp air, still clear water in the canal, absence of crowds of people, horse carriages, cars and motor boats.

The day starts with exploration of the quaint town followed by plenty of ice creams, waffles and fries, and ends with sore legs. Places to visit are a plenty but for travellers with kids, some best places to stop includes the Arentshof square beside the Bonifacius Bridge, Begijnhof and Minnewater where there are ample space for the kids to run about and beautiful sights for the parents to take in and catch a breath.
