Tanjong Beach, Sentosa Island

Well, it is nice once in a while to head to the beach and this time round we had an appointment with Brian and guys to bring our furkids to Tanjong Beach Sentosa for a swim and chill out session! The weather is great on that day! Brian picked us up to head to Sentosa together but wonder what went wrong, he thought we are heading to East Coast instead of Sentosa despite Lynn (Faith ma) called to ask where in Tanjong Beach are we all meeting...

Once we reached Tanjong Beach, we were introduced to a few other new friends!

Left to Right: Snowy (Japanese Spitz), Myu Myu (Poodle), Boi (Pomeranian), DoDo (Daschund), MoMo (Daschund), Headless Bon Bon (Pomeraninan) and Faith (Pomeranian)!

We had great fun under the sun and all the furkids are happily swimming with exception of Bon Bon, who's constantly and persistently attempting to get to know more about his new friends in particularly the girly wurlies.

The obedient Faith (Faith-ma may beg to differ)
doing the stroke á la croc.

Snowy-the-elegant with its snow-white flow coat.
It looked almost cotton-like to me.

The Michael Phelps of a swimmer!
DoDo not only can only swim well,
she also uses her tail like a rudder. Amazing aye?

Bon Bon: Wait for me~! I can't swim like you guys...

Bon Bon: Tsk... nevermind. I still prefer surfing
over swimming!! (*Sulking*)

Bon Bon: Ahhh~ My beloved MoMo, we are reunited again!

Bon Bon: Hmmm.... competitor? Foe?

It is truly an enjoyable outing but too bad it rained around 1700hr and we had to run for shelter and most of us just headed to the toilet/wash room to wash ourselves and called it a day... right! A few of us headed to Palawan beach to have dinner at a dog friendly cafe called Bora Bora. Awhile later after placing our orders, we were joined by the rest of the gang. The cafe has an open concept and its beside the beach. It is pretty comfortable and dog friendly (I already metioned that? ;p). The owner would served the doggies with a bowl of ice water once you are seated down. The food is so-so... errmmm, maybe even 4/10 overall. The only edible stuffs are maybe the pizza. The milshake is great as it was offered by Moven Pick (Although separate companies but they co-existed in the same location). The fact that the area is very dog friendly and good+comfortable setting, i rate it overall 6/10 and will definitely want to come back to this cafe the next time.

  5. Thanks for the info on Tanjong Beach. We have lived in Singapore since last September with our Bernese Mountain Dog. I was fed up with busy East Coast and the filth at Pasir Ris so we took him to Tanjong this morning and he loved it... We were there by 8:00 and it was deserted, left at 10:00 and still empty - perfect for him to go wild without having to worry about people getting scared (although he's a very gentle giant) :-)

  6. Denise: Wow, that is truly a beautiful breed! You are right to avoid East Coast Park as my baby had ticks infestation each time after a walk there. Tanjong beach is definitely the place to go and there you are able to meet more pawrents too. Glad that this post helped.
